Our Founder
The story of Crop Chop begins with our founder, Yanna, a dedicated advocate and passionate expert in the cannabis industry. Yanna's journey into cannabis started early — in 2008, at the age of 18, she attended Liberation Day in Michigan, where she was inspired by the work of John Sinclair and other leading industry figures. This event ignited her passion for the cannabis movement.
In 2009, Yanna began harvesting cannabis for friends and family, laying the foundation for her long-standing expertise. She later transitioned into the retail side of the cannabis industry, where she focused on understanding and assessing patients' specific medical needs, with particular attention to non-psychoactive cannabinoids and their therapeutic benefits.

Yanna’s wealth of experience spans the entire cannabis lifecycle. Specializing in post-harvest processes, she has developed and implemented highly efficient Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for high-volume cultivations.
